Whenever I see a Little Prince quote now, it reinforces the way I look at life. Before, maybe 15-20 years ago, I thought the book was a whimsical way to look at life but now I think it's a great allegory for how to actually approach life.
Same. I first came across it in my teens. I knew people who loved it, but I didn't share the sentiment. And the idealistic messages that others took away didn't resonate with me.
Time (and experience?) has changed my interpretation of the story (and parts of it). I appreciate it now much more than I used to. But what I get from it is also not necessarily what my childhood friends did.
