Curiosity is a flame, but not a spark. It doesn't just happen. You can create it. How do you inspire curiosity? Start with motivation. How? Read on to find out.
I was curious when I was a kid, but I feel like I got less curious as I got older. Then, in my 20's, I heard "If you want to be interesting, be interested," (think this is from Dale Carnegie) which gave me permission to ask questions. I was always told that I asked too many questions when I was a kid.
So now I feel no compunction about asking questions and if I'm bored, questions always come to mind for me to think about.
That's funny... in an interesting way. Because I was always told the opposite growing up - that I need to ask more questions. But I should clarify something...
I was the quiet kid growing up. In many ways, I'm still the quiet dude. So, it's not that I don't have questions or that I'm not curious. It's just that I don't verbalize them as much. I don't mind searching for answers on my own or even waiting for the answers to come to me.
Some people like to interject while others are explaining something. I like to let someone finish explaining before I ask my questions because my questions are often answered during the explanation, anyway.
But the result of all of this is that I give the *impression* that I don't ask enough questions.

Glad to hear you got your curiosity back!
